4C Maroc took part in the Eighth Regional Workshop of the Francophone Cluster of the Partnership on Transparency in the Paris Agreement (PATPA) held from May 23 to 25, 2018 in Douala, Cameroon. This edition focused on the theme "Measuring, monitoring, evaluating and communicating progress in the implementation of measures to adapt to climate change".

The workshop brought together a panel of decision-makers and experts to exchange information and share expertise, experience and good practice on monitoring and evaluation of adaptation. The country contributions were designed to provide participants with an overview of the approaches and experiences of the country concerned, with the aim of facilitating peer learning and political and professional dialogue on challenges and solutions related to this field of action.

Morocco’s contribution focused on the “Regional Information System for the Environment and Sustainable Development (SIREDD)”. The process of setting up this system was presented by the representatives of the SEDD and the High Commission for Waters and Forests, who received recommendations from African actors to continue collaboration with 4C Maroc on this priority theme.
