NDC investment and financing plan
The country has developed its NDC investment and financing plan to ensure green growth. This Plan follows on from the Green Investment Plan and calls for substantial climate finance to support sustainable, low-carbon economic development.
In light of sectoral consultations, the roadmap for implementing the NDC has been developed. This roadmap is iterative and may be updated periodically. It presents five main areas of intervention, with the aim of:
Provide clear direction to government and non-government actors regarding government intentions;
Anchor the implementation of the NDC in national and sectoral development policies;
Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Paris Agreement, with regard to the NDC.
Moroccan Climate Change Policy (MCCP)
This Climate Change Policy is the operational framework for the development of a medium and long-term strategy to respond proactively and ambitiously to the challenges posed by climate change. It forms the basis for coordinating the various measures and initiatives initiated to combat climate change and is intended to be a structuring, dynamic, participatory and flexible political instrument for establishing the fundamentals of climate resilient green growth.
The National Sustainable Development Strategy (NSDD)

The National Communications of Morocco

The detailed information can be found in the national communication documents and in the documents of the technical studies that were used in the preparation of the communication, notably "the national inventory of greenhouse gas emissions in Morocco", " the study of vulnerability and adaptation of Morocco facing CC '' and the study of policies and measures to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions ''.
This first updated Biennial Report of the Kingdom of Morocco follows the submission by Morocco of its Contribution at the national level "INDC" and will be followed by the submission, before the end of February 2016, of the first updated Biennial Report "BUR1".

Climate finance guide for regions
In order to facilitate the identification of territorial projects eligible for climate finance, a screening and prioritization methodology for projects was developed and tested in 5 pilot regions. It was carried out with the support of the 4C IKI Project, implemented by GIZ jointly with the Department of Environment. This guide is thus based on a concrete process carried out with territorial actors and takes into account the specificities of the Moroccan context.
